Rottec all the way. For me the most important thing is the warranty/customer service. I read a lot of posts from people having trouble (sometimes unresolved) reaching the dectane company. I had couple of issues with Rottec (totally my fault) and was able to get in touch with them almost instantly.
That's the main difference for me between the two.
Plus to get them to Canada from Germany, I would have to pay tax plus broker fees.

Depo is a Taiwan manufacturer, Dectane is a German distributor selling Depo product. Orange Tuning is a German distributor selling Depo product...so yes, you see the names used interchangeably for the exact same product.

I bought my Dectane (Depo) lights from a US company (revoMS, www.revoms.com). Absolutely no issues with delivery or customer service. Would recommend them if you prefer to buy domestically.

I love my ROTtec products. Regardless of which one you choose, you must get the front DRL's to match. Here are my front DRL's which were installed last night. The pictures do it no justice as they are stunning.

Another item to consider is Dectane (Depo) does not light up all LEDs (you are left with inverted "C" shape) when you depress brakes vs Rottec lights up all LEDs. OEM lights up as "C" which looks better than perhaps both.

I am looking to buy the Rotec Front and Backlights for my 2006 C2 Cab. Have you had any issues with warning lights or anything else after install?

The DEPO look just like the ones I got on E-Bay from XRteam. I bet they were from the same manufacture and sold through someone else.

They are nice and no errors, except I had two problems with my driver's side lights, one filled up with water...didn't like that, but they sent out a new one and I haven't had any issues since.

Let's this be a little pictorial for easy understanding and as a reference for the future:

left to right: OEM 997.1, OEM 997.2, Depo/Dectane, ROTtech

left 997.2 OEM, right 997.1 Depo/dectane

left 997 OEM, right 997.1 Depo/dectane

Been following the thread but have a few questions...I have 997.1

Did both brands (Rottec and Dectane) sort out the error codes?

I can't tell from the threads I have read. I'd like to get front LED's and rear LED's but am concerned the error codes have not been fixed
