Have you read the write up I did on how to install the module? I didn't include pictures because it's so straight forward. Maybe one of the other members can take some pictures while they do the install. If you still have questions, send me a PM and maybe we can discuss on the phone. With a little explanation it's very easy to do.

Not yet fixed...

I'm still getting the same error code about every 20 seconds or so. Stays on for a second, turns off, then back on again.

I pulled the whole assembly and re-seated everything and still getting it. By the way, getting the assembly out again was a nightmare in comparison to getting the original out, so woe to those that are stuck like me redoing this.

I ran out of light, so I'll give it one more try tomorrow...

What year is your car?
I think if you have a 2005-2006 you maybe having issues and may need a module. I know when Dectane Rear LED Tail Lamps came out, the guys with the 2005-06 cars needed to install the module that cam with the lights, guys with the 2907-08 cars did not need them, maybe you have the same issue?

It is a 2005 and I think it is an early build too. And, yes, I ran the resistor pack with the Dectane LED rears (and they work fine). Thanks. Anyone else with a 2005 having problems?

Issues here also. Seems many of us are having the same issue. All my lights are working as they should and i even put some insulation tape around the connection for the middle light strip to ensure connection was maintained. However, no success.

I have 2 sets of errors after fitting (fitted drivers side first then passenger side)

1) When lights are off, i get a Left Indicator Error that appears and then disappears once I have used the indicator. Odd !!

2) More worryingly, is when i turn the lights on to side light or full lights, i get a Left Side Light Error and then Right Side Light Error, so meaning the middle light bar. The fog lights (LED strip) causes no additional errors and the Left Indicator error does not come on when the lights are on.

Any thoughts ? did you see anything similar ?

Ray @ ROTtec aware and trying to help.

My car is registered March 2007, Build Jan 2007 i think. Also with my Dectane Rear LED light i used the resistor and it works.

Ray - WE NEED HELP !!

I'm thinking you guys that are getting these type of error messages, especially on earlier model cars, you may need to add a resistor unit to get the error messages to stop. You can get the resistor units from Superbright LED's for very little money.

My recollection of some of the earlier threads is that they were tested on various model years and types. Hmm...

I have the same "check right front side light" on my '08... So I don't think it has to do with the year

Before actual production, we have try the same prototype DRL to 05, 06, 07, 08 997 and they're all work without warning. I don't think module or resistor will fix. I'm asking the build date for all car with this issue and working closely with factory for solution. So anyone who has similar issue, please email me at info@rotteccarbon.com

No, the module just gives you automatic DRL functionality. It will have no impact, good or bad, on how the PCM monitoring system detects the new lights.
