What wheels to chose?

Embarrased to say since i don't even have my car yet, but i fly out in the morning to get my new 997.2 and have not even got it home yet and already know i want to do some minor mods. I know i want to change the 18" wheels with only 8000 miles on them to 19s, but having trouble with what to order. The car is meteor grey and i'm torn b/w the wheel dynamics 808 wheels in hyper silver, gloss grey, or carrera s II in standard finish or grey...all of these with red calipers behind. The car already has pasm, so do you guys think that adding 19s will make the car sit with a good look since it already has a 10mm lower stance. Thanks ahead. Oh, and i think a sharkwerks bypass is in the near works as well!

I would be cautious about the cast aluminium wheels. They are inferior to forged aluminium like the factory wheels. Second, they are cheap. This would cause suspicion to real problems like non hub centric, hard to balance, hard to mount tires on, bad finish, real trouble
Good forged wheels will cost you starting at, $1500 each

19" look great !

but i would stay from anything that weigh too much.. the wheels u r looking at may look nice but it will be like four anchors under ur car..

i am a firm believer of reducing unsprung weight.

step up and get a nice shoes for ur car.. something light and athletic.. lol

if u wanna save some money, there are always very nice used wheels u can buy at a discounted price. Just make sure it has no damage or previous repair work.

Carrera S II's look great, imo, and are pretty inexpensive used.

Yeah, really thinking of going with a set of the carrera s II wheels...do you guys think i should powder coat them in a grey gloss finish or leave them silver?

I don't necessarily love the idea of grey powdercoat with meteor gray - maybe not enough contrast. I guess I'd have to see it.

Does anyone know the weight of the Carrers S II wheels? Are they lighter than the "Lobster" wheels?
