RUF R-Kompressor C2S with RGT Bumper

Here's mine.

RUF Carbon Fiber complete Rear Decklid

RUF RGT-style bumper with through bumper RUF oval exhaust tips. When I did the bumper project, I actually trimmed away the inner heat shielding just in the area of the bumper cut-outs so they let air in to cool the mufflers and hot air out. I reinforced the bottom of the bumper and remianing heat shielding to hold up to the extra turbulence in there that having the open vents probably cause. I really did the cutouts so you could see the Fabspeed mufflers and the valvetronic valves open & close using the inside PSE Button.

Custom painted "Brushed Titanium" crest from Eli at Fast Forward Wheels (matching one on the front).

Since this photo I changed over to Dectane Rear LEDs. I also figured out a way to modify the hydraulics from a 996 TT to make the usually fixed RUF upper wing active Aero so the upper on now parks on the lower molded in spoiler - rises at about 80 mph, drops back down at about 50 mph and works manually with the spoiler button inside.

Threw one in of the Pink Pearl C2S I built for my wife last year with Vorsteiner Rear Bumper, Custom Exhaust Tips, TT Decklid with active Aero, hers has Dectane rear lights now too.

Petza, I would love to see your car in person some time. Let me know if you plan to go to a concours or cars and coffee sometime in Greenville. I could drive up from Columbia.

I don't think there's a thread on my specific car, but the mod by RUF is called an R-Kompressor which may make it easier to search for additional info. Attached is a PDF that shows what's involved in the kit (any of the parts on the engine shown in color). If you're interested and send me an e-mail to petza914@gmail.com, I can also send you a PDF with a bunch of Auto magazine reviews when the kit was first released. Kompressor kit alone adds about 100 HP (RUF's claims are usually pretty conservative). Coupled with the complete Fabspeed Exhaust and Y-Pipe intake, I estimate the car is somewhere in the 475-500 HP range, but have never had it dyno'd - it's a real screamer though.

Petra...how does that mod work for emissions? Or do you have smog to contend with?
