burnt clutch smell

When I was learning how to drive my 911, I would occasionally give it too much gas, and could smell the clutch once stopping. I just took a 600 mile drive home for Christmas and for some reason, after just driving normally for a few miles I can smell the clutch again. Anyone know what's going on?

Is it a new car? If so it could be the film burning off the mufflers. Or your riding the clutch and you dont notice

Well I took that piece off, and thought that was it, but it still smells after driving??? I'm gonna wash it once it stops raining, there are some leaves and debris near the engine, but I don't think that would smell how it does? The clutch feels normal, how can you tell when it needs to be replaced?
