Got my painted console from Eric @ Bumperplugs!

This is, by far, one of the best upgrades for the money!

The look is amazing and the whole car looks 100 times better now than with the crappy soft touch finish it comes from the factory.

I took the time to upgrade my shift **** and handbrake at the same time.

I broke my prior record and got it installed in 1:15! not bad!

nice.

In the picture it looks like your shift boot needs to be twisted a quarter turn clockwise. (the nut beneath the leather around the neck)

yes, the shift **** actually came with the leather boot backwards! I was able to separate the ****, rotate it, re install the leather booth and place it on the console...

the cost of the painted console was $575 from Eric, which is a deal.... his process takes weeks, between prep, painting, curing, polishing. Install was easy if you are
careful... once you are ready, let me know and I can help with any pointers... and if you a in south Florida or the Miami area, I can help you with the install.

thanks for the kind words!

Nice job! Did you replace the entire handbrake assembly, or were you able to somehow just replace the handle? I'd like to replace the handle on mine.

Super nice job! I'm planning on a painted console from Bumperplugs. Where did you get your ebrake and shift *** from? I would like to do those as well. Thanks!

I was able to replace just the handle on the handbrake... just twist and pull... add a dab of epoxy for the carbon one. the carbon/aluminum shift **** , I scored that on eBay. the price is close to $900... I only paid $475. really happy with the interior of my car now... just missing a few parts for daniel at db carbon and it will be complete.

looks amazing man. I love the look of the center section with the painted concol and carbon additions. Great job, cant wait to see what other carbon bits you install.

Is it more or less than it would have been to spec the car out with the carbon option from the dealer?

Either way plus one from me to you for a nice job.
