I couldn't find anyone in the Houston area, so I went with the Fister hack with a part exchange. Cost 250 with exchange, about 130 in shipping both ways, and 95 for the install at Meineke muffler shop. Darin is easy to work with and does beautiful work.

Did you remove the exhaust yourself, and then have the new one installed at Meineke?

I installed my fister mufflers two weeks ago and I cannot believe this car doesn't come equipped like this. If you don't have these go buy some from darrin at FD motorsports. Buy a set of ramps at pepboys. You will need a ratchet and 13mm socket and 13 mm wrench. It takes 45 minutes to swap them both out. Go do this now. You will not use your radio again.

I'm still trying to source a shop in Northern NJ to perform the Gundo Hack.
I've tried about five shops now and have not had much luck. I'd still rather do the hack locally, rather than shipping the cans to Fister. If anyone knows of a shop around Morris County, I'm all ears.

You would have had them by now from Fister probably instead of all this headache! you dont need to send yours in- He wil send you one when he gets cores in stock back from people and modifies them- then you will send him yours after you install his-

Another option is to buy my fabspeed sidemuffler bypass pipes as a temporary install while you send your mufflers off to be hacked.
I bought them for this purpose but ended up fitting Pse ...

I figured for 225+shipping id simply sell them on to the next hacker once I had my mufflers back on.

I actually have a spare set of cans to use for the hack. I'd just like to bring them to a local shop, rather than shipping them to Fister. With that being said, If I don't get any recommendations for a northern NJ shop, I'll be contacting DF.

Your car sounds great. Who did the modification for you?
