Hankook after 3000 miles

I am very happy with my hankooks after 3000 miles. You need to check air pressure and keep it on the high setting. They are not as stable with low pressure.

By high setting, do you mean pressure for a fully loaded car?

Also, exactly what makes you happy about them?

Yes. Pressure for a fully loaded car. It feels loose at the low setting.

The price and performance made me happy. They easily outperform the contis. But that may be unfair since the contis were worn out when I replaced them with kooks.

I corded my track tires at the track in November so I had to put the hancook on and I was so impressed on how much I could push them. For the money there the best tires out there.

For 08 997.1, pressure at full load is 37psi front and 44psi rear. This is the pressure that is on the driver side door. The low setting is in the manual.

So winter time we should be running on full load? Is there a higher chance of bending a rim or ect.

I had Hankooks on a 2008 Corvette and loved them. Had been thinking about them for replacements so I'm glad to see that someone has already tried them. Thanks for the information.

Ditto about the Hankooks. I don't track or push on public roads so I don't care about N ratings. They are definitely a little more squirrely in terms of handling but I'm no race driver and it could be because they are new.
