Oil change before breakfast!

Oil change before breakfast!
My new filter and filter cup wrench arrived yesterday from SunCoast and I was eager to get the oil draining this morning. I've had 9 quarts sitting on the shelf waiting for this day. This was going to be my first time with a 997S. It was well below freezing when I opened the garage door for a warm up ride in every sense of the word. A mere 16 minutes later I returned from what became a spirited morning ride around the horse farms near my house. I met not a single car before backing carefully onto the Bendpak in my garage. Oil temp 200. 45 seconds tick by as does the 11 lift lock clicks. The belly of the beast is exposed. Catch pan in place, 8mm hex in hand. I can feel the heat of the oil as it coats my gloved hand as the drain plug releases its grip on the pan. It looks like dark honey. I slip on the filter cup wrench and spin the housing free with 14 revolutions. I leave it alone for 30 minutes until the floodgate becomes a slow drip. Slide the o-ring on and pop in the filter and spin on along with a new drain plug and washer. I checked her after 8 but she was thirsty, 8.5 quarts to get her to the mark.
The drive to work seemed smoother if not quicker. I should change the oil more often. The lift makes it stupid easy. Looking forward to driving home!

1) What was the cost?
2) Does it help at all with wheel or brake changes? I assume not since it lifts using the wheels itself... just curious as I have been just doing the manual low profile jack to do winter/summer wheel changes.
thanks in advance,

I paid $2656.50 shipped in Nov. 09. I bought it from Metro Lifts & Equipment in Mobile, AL. http://www.metro-lifts.com/
888-661-5454 ask for Wesley Lowe
It doesn't help with wheel changes however they do sell an attachment for that purpose called a bridgejack RJ-45 for $980 which I don't have but looks pretty sweet.
You have to assemble the lift which isn't a problem as long as you have socket wrenches, can read and have some buddies with muscles. Also need a garage with at least 10 feet of clearance. The hood of my 997 comes within 6 inches of my garage door opener to accommodate my 335i underneath. No room for error but works perfectly! Hope that helps.

The Bend Pak is an excellent lift. I also had to get three cars into a two car garage. It was much cheaper than buying a new house.
Great for oil changes, cleaning the undercarrage, and changing exhaust systems.

The 911 sits on top. 10ft depending on height of cars on and under. I had a Lotus Elise when I got the lift. Probably only needed 8ft then.

Dannmar MaxJax lift
I got the Dannmar MaxJax lift last summer from Garage Equipment Supply.

It's great for a garage where you don't have a tall ceiling or a lot of room.
The posts bolt to anchors that you sink in the concrete floor, and if/when you need to move them you simply unbolt and roll away (wheels built into base of post).
