GTS Photos
Hello all, I've followed these forums for a number of years and enjoy being able to read the commentary and view member's photos. Now it's my turn to address you.
I took delivery of this 2012 6 sp. GTS cab on 9/2/11 and am finally posting photos. Please forgive me, but It seems that my posts are pretty much restricted to this ritual. After 4 months, I am pleased in every respect with the absolute goodness of this car. The comfort, performance, cachet . . . everything.
I ordered the car from Porsche of Melbourne (Florida) in early June, equipped it with leather interior, SC, the ususal nav, sound system, mirror, & seat package options, and a carbon fiber multifunction sw. It arrived 3 months later, almost to the day. Last month, I added the AWE Tuning rear muffler bypass pipes. The sound in either sport or normal mode is perfect, depending on your mood.
I did not wish to miss the opportunity of owning the last, and arguably, best of the 997's. It has not disappointed. I've owned the 964 and 993 versions previously, cars I liked a lot, but I believe that this one will be a long term keeper.
Happy New Year to all!
PS: I've taken some ribbing over on Rennlist about the plastic mats. There was some flooding around here a week or two ago and I put them in temporarily. I guess it's time to remove them.

A late, but hearty congrats on the purchase.
Don't let the plastic mats naysayers bother you. I have Weathertech floor liners in my 911, and when I take them out to clean them, the carpet under the mats looks as good (now) as it did the day I bought the car.
Looking for those photos!..
