Completely filthy dirty, pre-wash.

My wife suggested Arctic Silver because she knows how I get with my cars. If you have a little "car OCD", I highly recommend this color

My wife only seems to own silver and white cars. She had a beautiful black 4Runner that I was constantly detailing. Well that got old.

She goes thru the gas station car washes now in her white Highlander and it stays fairly clean.

Love black, just don't have the time for it.

And as far as OCD goes.........my car is 4 months old and I still haven't taken the factory plastic off the floor mats.

damn dealer took it off for me, or else I'd kept it on as long as I can.

I love silver, but also love every other color 997 that drive by. The car is just beautiful with any color. I guess love is color blind.

I went with Basalt Black on the current car. It's a bit easier to keep up with than the previous black car

Uh, if its so dirty, why is there a bucket and wash cloth in the picture and water on the ground?

I like black and red because they both bring out so much luster and deep reflection when clean.

ACRB is infamous around these parts
The only hard part to clean are these wheels, they take longer than washing the actual car.

As beautiful as black P-cars are, I don't think I would get another one.

Have owned a few black cars and in Seattle it's hard to keep them clean. White is difficult too. My last car I went sliver....hides the dirt until the weekend washing

Thumbs up

I've had 4 911s in 13 years:

--Arena Red
--Midnight Blue
--Arctic Silver
--Blue Turquoise

Arctic was my least favorite. I got bored with it very quickly and I only got it because I wanted to do a Lipstick Red Interior and couldn't figure out a better color to go with that.

My opinion going forward only the fun colors especially the Blues! One man's opinion.

personally, I don't get bored with cars because of their colour. I can't see how thats possible. Its the car, that I can get bored of. I had yellow, red, black and silver.
Overall, if I had to choose one for long term ownership, I'd choose silver.
