K40, Installed and using for 5 months and 6k miles....
Front and Rear Radar, with the Front License Plate Laser Diffuser.
Drove to New Orleans, Radar worked awesome, license to speed!
Have encountered Laser only twice in 6 months,...slow down Fast, cruise on by!!

 

2 years ago the FDOT used my car ( with an Escort ) with me driving to test several "instant on" detectors. From this experience I can tell everyone that unless the policeman is shooting just about every car your *** is grass; when your detector goes off you have been recorded.

 

You don't specify but I assume you're referring to instant-on radar, not laser. There is no protection against the former aside from awareness and a bit of luck.
