My 2006 997.1 Carrera 4S Cabriolet - Slate Gray Metallic and Natural Brown Leather
#2
Beautiful car. One of top favorite color combos include silver and red, grey and natural brown. Too bad Porsche no longer offers natural brown. I would suggest changing your leather cleaner/conditioner. It was way too shiny or may be it's just shows up on the pics like that. The leather should have a satin finish.

Any recommendations on leather products for this car? I have started a few threads in the detailing forum, but there isn't much traffic there. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful specimen, and very nicely optioned. I love those wheels! You have a winner there. Enjoy.
PS: before spending money on aftermarket things, just enjoy the car for a while. You will likely find that the car is so good the way it is, you can save your money on things that you don't need.

I've used Griot's leather cleaner and Sonax leather foam (both with excellent results) that leaves a satin finish. My current favorite is Leatherique Prestine cleaner. I have used it for the past 8 months and have been very pleased. The leather looks brand new and has a matte finish. It is crucial to clean the seats well (leatherique rejuvenator oil is my tool for this) as sometimes the greasy or oily feel is not related to the products used but is a result of accumulated dirt/oil from our skin. This is cognac (lighter color than natural brown) on my Cayenne and dark grey (almost charcoal color) on my 997 after leatherique Rx.

Thanks for all of the compliments, I have really been enjoying the car. One other thing about the color combo that you might not have noticed, the top is actually brown. You can see it in the pictures above, but here is another one to show the top's brown color.
