There were some on Ebay that looked to be for 997.1's but none for 997.2 cars. Has there been any real upgrades to the Smart top in the last few years I should know of? Also, where would you guys recommend getting one? Thanks!

 

Mods4cars only lists the one part number for 997's , 2005 and up at $ 399 so any price lower than that should be your goal. just google it and you'llget several hits. On a new one you might save a lttle but not much. If you can find a used one you might a good deal more. Had oneonmy Boxster for nearly 8 years and on my 997 for 4 with no problems at allsoa used module should be a safe bet.

 

Great thx! I Found one at Pelican Parts. $399 pretty much full price, but they said they honor the warranty. If it fails in the first year they replace it. I thought that was cool.

Now to install it.../shudder. I suck on stuff like that. Always afraid I'm going to screw it up lol
