Black lobster wheel with polished lip.

Saw this modified version of the 997 & Boxster "S" 19" lobster wheel with painted black spokes and polished lip and realy liked them. Anyone else?

these are options on the 997. Aerokit + painted wheels.

Looks good!

I like it! Has some fuchs wheel flavour (Sport Classic 997). I havent thought about this option to repaint and polish, but since I wanted to change my wheels anyway - I think I got a new option

To my knowledge, the factory painted wheels had just the polished lip, not the lower polished interior rim like the ones shown on your photo of silver car. Attached is a photo of my 2007 997.1 with OEM optional painted 'lobsters' from factory. You can see the difference between the two. z356

+1...Looks great!

I'm now considering this look for my lobsters. This would work well as I've also been thinking of replacing the clear film to black protective film on my blue car.

I had my lobsters painted in Basalt Black with the polished edge. It's a great alternative to the expensive Fuchs.

Wow...I love the look....Would consider for my 997.2....how hard would it be to recondition an old set of lobsters to look like this?

I found some pictures on a black 997 - So if you paint the center matte black, you are set up

What do you all think a powder coat with just the lip polished might cost? I have nearly brand new Pzero Rossos; impractical to think they could remove, powder coat and remount without damaging the tires?
