Do the Audi R8s hold their price better than the 911s?

I know it may not be a true comparison, but a brand new audi r8 in 2008 or 2009 was kind of closely priced to a 997 c2s.

The 911s have lost more price than the R8s?

What should be a fair price for a 2009, or 2008 R8 with about 20k miles.

I see they are still in the 100s.

Well, the 20008 R8s won't be out for another 17,995 years!

On top of that, there has only been 1 generation of R8. For the duration of the R8, there have been 997.1, 997.2 and now 991.

I would love an R8. The original sticker of $109M might be misleading as didnt they sell for a huge premium? What do new R8s sell for compared to the 991 or last year to the 997? The Z8s have held up very well due to scarcity too. The depreciation on the Porsche made it affordable to me. Here is a comparison of the R8 and 997 on Top Gear:

This video is the only reason that i always compare the R8s with a 911.
The depreciation on the porsche is the only thing that put the 911 in the range where i would want to spend that much money - and affodability of course.
I do not know about the premium part, that's just ignorance on my part.
But i am trying to find one for me, and hopefully soon. This time i have patience unlike the time when i bought the 911

If you think you can get an $80K 991, then sure, you can get a $109K R8. Audi options their cars like Porsche does. Base model comes with doors, engine, tires, miscellaneous other body panels. My $38K S line Q5 was near $60K when all was said and done.
