The 9year old's team is doing well in the tournaments. We call that a Squirt team, or Squirt Minor 2002. I think they call that Atom in Canada.
I also have a Mite (8 and under here), who is 7, so he has one more year at that level. No plane trips for him, but he's been to Nashville, Knoxville, Orlando, and Tampa this year. They're killing it in some tournaments, and getting crushed in others. They're struggling to find teams evenly matched, but now the season is almost over and it will be a whole new dealio next fall, as all but 3 kids move up to Squirt.

I might try that. I had a bunch of damage done before I noticed. Now it's a mess and I'm not moving the seat that way anymore. I was afraid to fix the nicks bc I figured it would happen again, but maybe your idea would help me to avoid that. I really want a painted center console, but the kids step on it all the time, as they exit through the front seats.

I remember there was a guy here or on another forum that sold his car bc he got so upset with his kids messing with his brand new Carrerra S. I don't want to get that bent out of shape about things...

We call it Atom, and then it is Pee Wee (11-12 year olds).

We find the same thing, regardless of out come in the tournaments, it is good to just get them on the ice and playing.
