Since the issue of quality aftermarket bodywork has been of interest, I wanted to post a couple pics of my GT3 .2 wing prior to painting. Like I mentioned previously, the body shop owner told me that the construction was first rate, and very little prep work was needed before priming.

In these first pics, one of the indicators of good fitment is even spacing at the right and left edges, as well as at the bottom of the decklid.

The other thing I did was have the body shop fill in the "3.8" on the sides of the wing. They did a great job filling it and then priming.

This is why I went local with someone that I trusted to do my rear wing and front bumper. You not only need a good manufacturer (Precision is one of those) but a good install/painter. I used Sterling Auto Concepts locally. I watched each step of the process. Your installer has to get rid of the pinholes and understand what a good paint job looks like. Additionally, all these aftermarket pieces need to be fitted and adjusted properly.

Thanks.

Dave,

The snorkels match up perfectly with the airbox. When ordering with Tony, I just specified I had 997.2 and it was as simple as that. Unfortunately, I'm not at home now so I can't take a pic - I'll try after the weekend.
