Got mine last week. My name plate was all crooked Cool looking though...especially if you have it back lit

you can fix your nameplate. that's just double sided tape. if you don't want it at all you can remove altogether as the black plastic still says 991...

Finally got mine. The personalized plate reminds me of when I was a teenager, my father got a 928 poster that had our last name on a personalized license plate on it. He gave it to me and it hung in my bedroom as a teenager. I guess sometimes this Porsche marketing stuff works.

 

I decided to hold off on the 991 since I love my 997, but staring at that 991 display next to my TV everyday for the last few days makes me want to buy a 991. What a great marketing ploy. I need to take the 2011 car off the display to save myself $120K.
