XM Sat? IPOD?

I have XM Satellite which has been left on by the previous owner. I'm really not sure how much longer it is going to stay on. Since I do not have the IPOD/AUX option...Is it possible to replace this component or swap it out for IPOD/AUX? If so, what would I need?

thanks

If whatever you do replaces the sat radio "box" you'll have a new radio ID and you'll have to activate (buy) the service for the new ID.

I have a 997.2 and when I acquired it had XM but no universal audio interface or aux input jack in center console. I did not like the sound quality or the programming so did not renew the XM after a while. Had a NAV-TV module for iPod installed so I could play iPod and stream pandora thru my iPhone 4 in the center console area. I like this option better. PCM 3.0. 2009

I have looked at that option but spending $1600 seems high. I have come up with another solution using PandoraJam and then burning the songs to DVD. PandoraJam pulls the cached song and converts it to MP3 then Tags it and drops it in ITunes. There is no loss in sound quality and it cost $15.
