New Rims! Old school :)

The only thing I wasn't 100% crazy about when I bought my car was my rims. I liked them, but always wanted old school 911 rims. Finally thanks to ebay and a great seller I got what I wanted. Now she is complete...

Fyi I am selling my SportClassic rims. They have 6400 miles on them. 1k for all 4 + shipping.

I know the rage is spokey color matched rims now, but as a kid lusting after 911's, this is what I remember them looking like. Weird how we become attached to certain styles regardless of whether they are in vogue or not.

I'm 43 as well and what I mean is the large individual spoke rims. Actually the pics you posted are the kind of style I liked and why I changed. I've just never been into the high spoke count <The sport classic have 15 spokes>. Plus I like to see those big beautiful cross drilled rotors and red brake calipers

As for the rims I took off, you can click my name and garage. There is a side pic there. There is nothing wrong with them just that I like that old 5 spoke vibe the best. 100% personal preference. :P

Yep, I will try and do it Sunday night. I've worked the last two days so I will get them photo'ed later on Sunday. My Porsche dealer cleaned and detailed the take-offs and put them in the boxes my classics came in.

Went an even older route, fuchs style, new, Sport Classics.
after 40 years in PCA, treated my self to the newest old, like on my 76 Targa S.
I have a good deal on Sport Designs for anyone!!

Love the rims. Same as the ones I have on my 2007 C4S. Interesting to know my car is already "old school"!
