For some reason my 09 C4S has stopped playing music from the USB/Thumb drive. It was working fine. Now when I start the car it will say its indexing the music database, and then just stops. The screen goes blank and the touch controls will not work. I can switch to the radio, or the iPod and those work, just not music playback from any thumb drive (I have tried a couple now).

Any ideas? Do I need to reset the PCM?

Fixed. I just reset the PCM and everything is back to normal.

 

What is the procedure to reset the PCM ? thanks

 

I clicked on the "Info" button while playing music and then the "option" button on the right hand side of the PCM, from there you can click on "reset PCM", then "Factory Reset".
