Must...resist...more mods....

I've owned my 09 C2S for about 2 months now. When I first picked it up I thought I would never mod it. Right.

Over this past weekend I installed a Tubi exhaust, hard wired my Escort 9500ix, and installed clear corner lamps (I wish the tubi install went as quick as the lamps).

I also have the factory ipod/aux hookup sitting on a shelf waiting to be installed.

When does this newly acquired mod-itis stop?

I just need 2 more mods...new exhaust tips and an intake. And then maybe a tune. And the windows need tinted of course since I'm in south TX and you know how hot it is in south TX. And some carbon backed sport buckets...

And...

Nice mods! have only had my 09 C4S for 2 weeks and only did the clear corners so far...tints and exhaust are next on the list to look into.

What made you decide on Tubi? Other exhausts you considered? And if you dont mind me asking what kind of $ did it run you (can PM if you prefer)

I'm not familiar with smart top and I don't have a cab...just Targa.
What features would be useful for my Targa?

I went with the tubi because it seemed to have the most "exotic" sound. I had to go strictly off of video and forum posts since I didn't have access to listen t any in person. Drone was also a concern and the tubi was consistently praised for no drone.

My initial impressions are that it transforms the car. It's louder than I thought it would be, but in a good way I think. The sound is higher pitched than others I have heard which is exactly what I wanted...an exotic f1 sound.

I'll post a vid this weekend.

I wasn't going to do any mods but it sort of happened, first bit by bit and now I have an active imagination perusing this and rennlist forums.

Latest was to get 911 black emblem on a naked rear lid and now getting my tips ceramic coated to help complement the emblem and gunmetal Vorsteiner forged wheels I recently bought off rennlist shortly after.......... you can see on the sig line..

The only known cure for the mod bug is the empty wallet.

And that is only a temporary solution.

Sorry for the delay in answering!

The smart top is a module you plug into your car that adds several really cool features.

auto locks doors once you start moving, gives a soft muffled honk when you set alarm <very nice>, 1 touch top up and down. 1 touch all windows up and down...again very nice.

Tubi

Congrats on Tubi,

answer is it will never end...think the exhaust mod is checked off? Maybe you should go center exhaust and gt3 rear bumper? yup even mods can get re-modded... its a serious disease... embrace it.
