Hey guys,
So here's my situation.

I previously owned a 2007 997 4s Cabriolet in Basalt Black that i sold then i got a 993 4S Coupe that i sold as well.
After about a year of no Porsche i'm back on the hunt! lol

So i've narrowed down my options to two cars and have to make a decision Asap.
I went the Coupe route this time around as i really wanted a 997 Coupe and not a Cab.

Option 1 is a 2007 C4S Coupe in Slate Grey on Full black leather.
The car has full leather,Navigation,Sport Chrono,Bose Premium sound,Rear wiper,electric Sport seats and center console painted in Slate Grey from the factory.
Car has factory Turbo rims as well.
The car has 52,000 miles and no warranty.
Now the car has about 10000$ in mods. Fabspeed exhaust, headers,cats etc etc. ECU Tune as well and is pushing about 400 horses.
The car is in absolute mint condition and looks flawless.
My local Porsche shop who i know very well knows this car extremely well. He is the one who did all the work on it and said that it is a great car. The owner was ver meticulous and always maintained his cars.

Option 2 is a 2007 C4S Coupe in Basalt Black on Black.
The car has Sport Chrono and Bose Premium audio.
That's it. It has sport seats as well but not electric.
Now this car has 37000 miles and still has 1 year left of Porsche extended warranty.
No mods on the car and it's not particularly clean. Nothing major on it but not squeaky clean like the Slate.

So here's my dilemma.
I truly prefer the slate.
For one i didn't want to go black again since i already had a black 997.
Secondly the slate has so much more desirable options ( Full leather,Nav even though it sucks might be useful every now and then , electric seats)
And lastly all these amazing mods!!

Buuuut the black has 15000 miles less and still has Porsche warranty for another year.

Price is the same for both.

So what do you guys think...
All opinions are greatly appreciated.

Go for the slate grey one if you like the options package - which I think -sounds awesome. Do a good PPI , the mechanics seem to know this care very well, you should have a great car with very little problems to be expected , at least in the first year. Thereafter, the other car is out of warranty as well. So, 53K miles is not a lot and 37K miles is not a lot less. If the price is right for both, the options will retain more value for you (and more pleasure too). Good luck. Both cars look worth while having!

get the slate....and see if you can get a third party warranty.

Ya i definitely think the Slate is the one i prefer.
Price is the exact same thing for both.

Third party warranties here are worthless and cost like 5 grand...

Are you going to daily drive the car? If so, then I can see your concern about the miles. However, I would prefer the slate as well. Sounds like history is good and the options are great. You did not mention price, so I am thinking this is not a concern between the two??? I would assume the lower mileage one is more expensive, but the lack of options could offset this a bit and make them more even.

Yes this will be my daily driver... Though my work is less then a mile from my home so i do a lot less mileage then i used to.

Price on both is the Same...

Just something to keep in mind. You mention your commute is 1 mile... that means you car will not be up temperature and will not " boil off " the water in the engine. That is not a good situation. Plan to have regular longer trips 1/2 hour or more and keep that throttle down ( ie drive it like you stole it) to get the moving parts hot and bothered and keep the seals etc soft... That will be one of the key ways to extend the life of your engine and all the components that make up a car..

Between the two, I'd go for Option 1.

Have you thought about Option 3 - waiting for a car you are 100% about?

Have you searched Pfaff and Downtown Porsche? Short trek to pick it up from Montreal and a fun drive back.

I'd go for the slate too! Especially with mods that you want AND it's mint AND the shop can vouch for the work AND it's optioned well. Good luck.
