Took the plunge!!! Super happy new 997 owner
Hello Everybody,
Today I traded my beloved 335 in on a cpo 2006 997 c2 with 31k. I have been a lurker for awhile but figured I should register now that I have found a nice P car as my daily driver.
Drove about 300 miles today... Can't wait to drive it again tomorrow.
Looks like a great community. I am going to dig into the search function a bit. Already figured I will do my own oil changes.

The 335 was an amazing car. Drove it til 72k miles were on it. I wanted to stay with a Beemer initially but I am a little disconnected with the direction they have been going the last couple of years. the pull on the 335 was great and probably very very close to the 911. The big difference is the instant power of the 911 is more intoxicating.
I was also looking at a 2008 m3 but lack of inventory, pricing and gas mileage seem to be the main issues. I always wanted a 911 so that is one car I always search for. Found a cpo that fit exactly what I was looking for. Silver with black interior, low miles, 6 speed, nav, and the upgraded Bose stereo. The dealer ship step into my trade and I pulled the trigger.

Congrats....I have a C2 and love it.
I spent 2 hrs today polishiing out rubber marbles from the track and then went for a ride. Nothing beats it when it comes to making one feel good.
All the best for many years of great driving.

I paid 9.1% because I purchased the vehicle in Tucson, AZ. It would have been 9.3% if I purchased in the Phoenix area.

We just moved here about a year ago. Please share some of the good spots and how to get there. I need some good suggestions.
