I wouldn't let anyone at walmart touch my car, do it yourself and its done right....if the guy reverses the poles you could be screwed

Self install. I'm not even willing to put the car in the Walmart parking lot, much less let an employee there work on it. Its an easy replacement.

Thanks for the posting and the install pics. Considering the Optima 34R as well. Your info is a great help especially the compressor idea. Checking to see if you experienced any reserve capacity performance issues with the Red Top losing reserve quickly? I don't plan on leaving the lights or radio on but never know. So I thought I would ask someone that is actually using (has been using) the Optima Red Top.

My car isn't a daily driver and is on Cetek when garaged. Your input would be a great help before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

I haven't had any issues at all with it. When I'm not driving the car for 4-5 days I plug it into a Battery Tender, but it has also stayed unplugged for a week or more without any issues or slow cranking.
