I Have a 997.2 Front Bumper. Need all the rest! How much?

Hi Guys,

So i happen to fall on a 997.2 front bumper but it is plain.
Meaning there is no LED's , no "gills" in the left and right holes and the bottom hole as well has nothing.
Can someone tell me what am i looking at to get this complete.
What parts i need and in terms of $$ value what am i looking at?

Thank You

The lower side grilles you will need are not too expensive, about 70USD each from Suncoast. This is the suncoast part No. 9972SBG.

The center bottom intake does not come with a grille.

Hope that helps.

You will also need a standard spoiler lip: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=997gen2ak

Side grilles (make sure to get the black ones as they are 70each compare to 500 for the silver ones): http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...y_Code=9972ext

Why do that? Each generation has its charms. Yesterday I passed a 997.1 (as I identified it from the rear) and then noticed it had a 997.2 bumper with LED DRLs et al. It did not seem right - a travesti really. YMMV!

I'm really last on the list to try and make something look like something it's not.
But i think the rear and front changes that were made in 09+ are awesome!
Especially on the 4S with the reflector on the deck lid.
I'm doing it not because i want people to think it's a 997.2 but because i truly believe it looks much much better!

If I wanted the newer style 997 then I would have bought that year. I agree that it doesn't look right. Why buy a low end model..then dress it up to look like the high end model? It's just being a poser in my opinion.

Someone can do whatever they want to their car...but why make it look like something it's not??

Ok you guys clearly don't get it.
Is it like slapping a M3 badge on a regular 3 series? Absolutely not.
Is it like slapping a 4S badge on a 4 or a S badge on a 2. Absolutely not.

I found the perfect 997.1 4S with the options i wanted in the colour i wanted for the price that i wanted.

What's funny is that I have seen cars just like that. It so ridiculous that people do stuff like that. You can put a .2 bumper if you want....we are just saying that WE wouldn't change OUR cars like that. Even if I got into a wreck and had to replace the number.....I would go original...but that's just me.

I think it is a waste of money to change the original look and end up with a look of a car that it isn't. Reminds me of the thread with the 911 w/ Lambo doors.

it's going to cost quite a bit.

i did my front conversion to a 997.2 GTS front with Speedster lip, Euro rear bumper with 997.2 taillights.

the front is more complicated than you think..
you're going to need :

Front Bumper
Side Grilles (2)
Front Grille
997.2 Radiator [plastic]ducting (3)
997.2 headlight washing unit (it will show and look ugly if you dont have the new ones)

hope this helps!
