997 Sport Classic Style Black Headlight Trims Installed!

Hope you guys like the look. I highly recommend this product from KI studios, it adds an extra pop to the headlights and gives the old gal a fresh look.

Also works great as a quick and low cost fix for that modding craving you may have again.

I like it! Could you post a picture of the car a little farther away so that you can get a sense of the whole front of the car with them?

+1. I was thinking about these for my Plat Silver and your pics will go a long way in making that decision. They look good up close! Thanks!

Thanks guys. Didn't take any full car pics though, not enough lighting in the garage. Will take some more during daylight.

Meanwhile this should give you some idea...

Fantastic! I got mine ready to be installed. I was waiting to finish polishing my headlights and they are done now, so installation is going on this weekend. Kyle is fantastic to deal with!

Well done! KI Studio is great to work with. The headlight surrounds are easy to apply and definitely give the headlights a new look, mimicking the Sports Classic 997 .

Looks great. Any problems with air bubbles?

They really make the headlights "pop". I would not do it on my light silver or maybe a white car but it looks good on the darker paints. On your car it actually pulls the black of the wheels into the hood area and ties it all in. Very nice.

The sport classic is a pretty good indication on how the black headlight trims would look on your car, the color is a lot closer to your plat silver than my meteor grey. But will definitely post up some more pics when I can.

Should look great with the black of your car. Have fun installing them.

The trims came with a pretty good instruction sheet. There will be some air bubbles or water bubbles as both sides the vinyl will need to be sprayed with water before applying, just make sure to remove the bubbles with the supplied squeegee when they are still wet. Do not use the squeegee on a dry vinyl as you will be more likely to damage them.

Thanks. I actually think they work better on lighter coloured cars, providing the much needed contrast and separating the headlights from the body. One of the possible reasons Porsche designers chose this style of headlights for both the Sport Classic (light grey) and the Speedster (light blue).

Thanks. I think this is the way all 997 headlights should've been from the factory.
