If it doesn't come out, I am going to put a black carrera emblem.

What did the detail guy do? I'm suffering from the same thing.

This is not uncommon. My carrera had the same deal when I put my 911 badge on it. Given my car is white it was very barely noticeable and very, very light. My detailer warned me of this. Basically said either time, sun, heat, or sometimes they put the badge on before the clear is fully cured and it does this.

He was able to make it disappear with some compound and polish.

It may be a bit difficult to see in the picture, but hopefully you can see what I mean.

Ha! I had the same thing!!!! First I did my best and placed the PORSCHE emblem at the back praying I won't notice it. Then my wife (that knows me too well) asked me: "Soooo, when are you going to drop your car at the body shop?" LOL! Body shop charged me $200 to fix it. and then, I bought another PORSCHE emblem and installed it. Now me and my OCD are happy.

I am meeting with Cosmin from Proflection detailing today and he seems to think that it shouldn't be a problem to remove it.

The detailer I used had several levels of service, from simple wax, to full service wax, to Paint Correction Level 1 and Level 2.

I went with the Paint Correction Level 1. I assume that's compounds, etc. He said he spent a good deal of time on it, and he was pretty proud of the results. And - again, I am very happy with it.

I am happy to report that Cosmin for Proflection was able to smooth out the crinkles in the paint. I can faintly see where it said Carrera because of the difference in the paint and how it faded, but 99% of people would never notice it. He had to wet sand and polish to get it out.
