I bought the genuine Porsche indoor cover from Ryan at Suncoast. I bought it primarily because it was light enough to fit in my washing machine, whereas the first one I bought was much bulkier. I love the material and the look, but my one complaint would be the tightness of the fit.

If you are even slightly ****, it can be a pain in the *** stretching it uniformly over the entire car. There's virtually NO margin for error. You will find yourself pulling one side to cover, only to have it slide up and expose the car on the opposite side.

I don't want to jack the thread but I'm looking for an indoor cover. I will only use it when the car will not be driven for a long time..........like weeks or months. I'm in the military and I am the only driver. It will be garaged but I have kids and a dog. You can see why I want to give it a bt of extra protection.

I guess I just jacked the thread.......

Weahershield is nice, takes up little space and is light, but its slippery and that makes it harder to put on, and the colors fade quickly.

The OEM Porsche outdoor is nice. Looks like it will last, but I don't like the rear plate window, it can leave marks, and its a little too tight for its own good. Also bird droppings, if left, will eat away at the silver coating.

This in the Hawaiian sun, so YMMV depending on your location.
I have been looking for advice on a good daily cover for use in Hawaii. Looks like you are talking from experience in Hawaii. As you know the weather is brutal, especially with the salt mist near the shoreline. I am on Oahu and looking for an outdoor cover.

I've had decent results with Noah covers in the past. After a few years it does degrade. From your post looks like you may be recommending Noah. Please confirm, I was hoping there would be a better cover than the Noah but if it is the best I will get another one for the 977.

I have the indoor cover from Sunocoast on my 997 and I must admit, the fit and material is perfect (like a glove).

I have the same cover and have had success putting it on from the ends (mirrors first). Either pull it over the rear, then the front (or vice versa)

I bought the outdoor cover from sun coast a few years ago and like it. Remember, you have to put the cover on clean car. If the car is dirty it will get the inside of the cover and then grind away at the paint. I use optima no rinse wash as a quick wipe down prior to covering. Unless its filthy, and then a full wash is in order.

I have an OEM Indoor and Outdoor cover. They are both in top shape- no flaws or anything to be worried about. PM me to let me know what you're willing to pay for $600 worth of Porsche covers. Both are full color logoed, and look amazing on.
