What are some good mods?

I liked 200 cell cats the most... Makes the exhaust sound much better... Besides that clear side markers, silver hood crest depending on the color of your car, SSK if u have 6 speed, etc. see sig

Turbo or SC is pretty much the only way I know of to significantly improve performance(if you mean power) or you can spend nearly as much and get intake/plenum/exhaust/cats/headers/flash and get a few HP

TPC Turbo is a nice mod for $9,999 complete plus labor. It's on my list for this year. Other bolt-on mods just aren't worth it, or at least that was the case with my E46 M3. I wasted lots of money to yield little when I could've (and later did) to get plenty.

I spoke with Mike at TPC about a turbo for my 997.1 tiptronic. He was less than encouraging. The turbo's intercooler would tap into the existing three radiators that currently cool the engine and transmission. This could tax the cooling capacity. Mike said that "it worked okay for some guys".

That's interesting. I didn't get this concern when I spoke with them, although I don't doubt what you're stating here. I know they've done severals tips. Do you know if another cooler (larger) is available? In any case I'll be getting one assuming the oil analysis from Blackstone doesn't indicate any issues. TPC suggested I do this given the miles on my car.

I think you have your answer, if you are looking for performance, go with TPC turbo. If you don't have the money now, start saving. You can spend as much if not more on exhaust, headers, ecu flashed, etc and gain nothing. Ask me how I know.

In a N/A car, you won't get huge h.p. improvements. Period.
My advice is an after market exhaust, light weight wheels, and some springs.
Flash it if you want.
The rest is snake oil.
You will not notice 10-15 h.p., don't kid yourself.
Why?
After market exhaust can be much lighter than the PSE, for example.
Springs and lighter wheels help the equation from the other side (weight reduction).
I hold makers claimed h.p. gains at arm's length and with a little skepticism.
If you want 450 h.p.+, the ONLY way is a turbo(s). I've seen what Champion can do with a TT and a flash, cat-backs, etc. That's the way to 600h.p.
Man up and open that wallet.
