Anyone know a way to change the shiny chrome on the PSE tips to be a matte silver like some of the BMW exhaust tips?
Im going for a matte silver accent theme and the shiny chrome just clashes.

Don't do it. I have the matte, brushed, stainless. They are hell to clean. Polished just wipes right off, brushed holds onto everything. Do powder coated black, if you want them to be less obvious...

if you have a theme of other colored parts on the car, it will work well, they may be able to get away with normal paint. but if it does start to flake because of the heat, youll have to get it redone with powdercoat

 

I did mine in matt black and I'm happy with the results, I had it done at the dealership - Of course, I have a black theme all over rather than silver:

I know it's harder to clean. I tried to use a dremel with a wire brush tip on a hidden spot but didn't do a thing.
With a silver theme I guess the black tips have more to match(tires?) than the chrome would.
