Porsche Megafactory - 997 Assembly Video

I found this 47 min video very interesting... Goes through the production and assembly stages to build the 997 in Stuttgart's "megafactory". Very cool to see how these cars are born - well worth the watch!!!

Check out this video of the factory in the '60s when they were cranking out 356s. 5-part series.

Great videos, I'm pretty sure the I contributed at least 1k of the views of the first one.

I think its nice to include this one as well. Last week the ever amazing //Driven team released a video of the tour of Porsche Classic where they are doing full-on factory restorations of Porsche's from the 550 to the 959. They allow dealers (even in the US) to offer parts for every Porsche going back to the 356.

It is also nice to see some of the older Porsche technicians at work on some of the same cars they worked on when they started working at Porsche.

Best scenes:
6:12 - That unveiling is almost pornographic
4:20 - Apparently Liam Neeson works as a Porsche Technicial
7:50 - "Every 959 is still running, on the road" !!!

As if I needed more assurance about my level fondness for this engineering marvel. The craftsmanship is astounding to watch. I saw this when it first aired. Even after the ****teenth view, it continues to impress.
