I had a Porsche door emblem put on my car this weekend.

Hey Don - kind of an unexpected cool look, especially considering it's a Targa. Glad you like it because yours is the only vote that counts.
Since you've got the original images, any chance somebody in the house uses Photoshop?
I'd love to see that stripe in a semi-matt GT Silver, and in a matt red almost identical to your current body color. The latter might be just subtle enough to be very cool.
Or both could be horrible.
Anyhow, keep enjoying the views.

I think it looks great. Its your car so do what makes you happy.
I have Guards Red too and want to do similar.
I want a decal as close to GT silver as possible to match my wheels.
Where did you get the decal?
Places in LA I called will not install decals not made by them but nobody here has this specific decal.
I'll have to see if K1 in SD has them and make a day trip.

It has a little more "Mach 5" to it now, now if only I can find Pops to install the steering wheel...

Don - select your favorite pic and have somebody do a Photoshop color swap on the stripe. It should be very easy. Post a few results here.
I agree with you about the dark color stripe. Creates too much of a void as well. Also agree that the white 'pops'. A little too much for my eye, but it's not my car so I don't get to vote.

I really like the way the white on red pops! It would be nice if I could see it with the other colors. I also like the idea of dark gray. I thought about black and was going to exchange it for black, but I thought it would just look dirty and draw the eye to the tires. It's funny to look at pictures without the stripe now, it looks like it was missing something.

After looking at it again I think you are right about the black.
