Does this happen to you?
As I was walking back to my car the other day, there it was in front of me, the car appeared just as new and exciting to me as the first day when I picked it up!
Couldn't resist taking a picture of it to capture this 'moment'.

She's a beauty! Congrats!
I feel that way almost everyday I look at her. It's hard to explain the emotion but it's strong....it makes me feel lucky and fortunate. The fact that I get to drive such a masterpiece is somehow incomprehensible to me.
Those daily feelings make the price I pay seem so very small because putting a value on that is impossible and really no amount of money would be too much to pay (almost) !
Recent pic after her surgery!

Special feelings for over 36 years!
I've had those same feelings since 1976 when I bought our first chocolate brown 912E to today when I see our black 1976 912E and our 2007 997 C4S slate gray cabrio. Very special indeed.

Every single time I park my DD next to the "mistress", I would need to take a look at her and run my fingers over her hip and front end.....
In all seriousness, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to own such a great machine with such rich history and heritage.

I think what does it for me is the 2/3 angle from the rear. My 9 year old agrees. He stares at it and says "dad I dont know how to describe it but do you see it form here?" And I nod and laugh as I know he is on the right track...
Today I went to the garage, opened the door, stared for a few minutes, and then left. It was my fix.
