VF Engineering 475hp 911s

Proud owner of a VF supercharger kit in my 03 911. I can vouch for the quality and reliability of these kits. HUGE difference in performance over a stock 911. I have over 15k miles on my kit with ZERO issues.

What kind of 0-60, 1/4 mile and trap speeds are you guys getting with a similar 02 or later 996 carrera coupe with the supercharger kit with upgraded exhaust and headers (ex fabspeed)? Any performance info from you or any of your customers?

whats type service is required for the supercharger and how often does it have to be completed?

1. Clean or replace crankcase ventilation system every 6000 miles

2. Clean S/C Oil inlet fitting every 3000-6000 miles

3. Spark plugs change every 10,000 miles

4. Oil change every 3000-5000 miles

5. Clean or replace Cone Air Filter every 10,000 - 15,000 miles

We've never done any official 0-60, 1/4 mile testing with a VF supercharged 996.

Per VF's recommendations
Some of these recommendations are for the older Vortech V2 system.

With the updated Vortech V-3 system, the supercharger is self contained and requires no extra oil lines or fittings. Besides regular maintenance of your car, changing the oil in the supercharger is now the only maintenance item for our system.

Changing the supercharger's oil is very quick with easily accessible drain and fill screws. After first installing your kit the S/C oil must be changed after 2500 miles. From then on, the S/C oil only needs to be changed every 7500-10k miles, or every other oil change. The Vortech S/C oil costs $15.

Interesting. I have the V3 version, and the above recommendations came directly from your printout. Can I trouble you to PM or email me your updated recommendations and instructions on how to change the S/C oil?

Here are some HP and TQ dynos:

The "stock" curves are from a 997 with aftermarket headers, cats, and mufflers so expect a greater area under the curve compared to a truly bone stock 997s.
