PenFed is awesome!!

Thanks All! Penfed looks like the way to go, although I got a pretty killer deal at USBank. Loving the "S", need to retrofit paddles now, those steering wheel buttons are not easy to get used to!

PenFed takes my vote, they have 72months ONLY for brand new cars and rates are 3.49% I think, for 60months you can get 1.99%, last month they had online special 1.49%.. *I sound like their sales person*
You have to have a family member who banks w/them to get their membership or working at the Pentagon.
good luck

The dealer usually has many sources outside of Porsche itself. We were going to pay all cash for the last car, but ended up financing half of it when they steered us to a local credit union that had a 1.63% deal being offered at the time. We used the rest of the cash elsewhere.

FWIW, if you get paid biweekly, a loan where payments are posted (not just collected) on a biweekly basis will get you either a lower payment or shorter term. I had a definite monthly limit in mind and was able to meet that with a biweekly payment plan.
