They'll do it for much less than that if you're a PCA member.

That's the one I have (see pic). I love it and wouldn't have an aftermarket conversion. This wheel is a work of art, and it works perfectly. Plus, it's worth a good deal used and will easily sell separately when I sell my car.

Hi,

I have a 4S targa PDK with the original multifunction steering wheel.
I'll add the paddles. i 've just ordered those of Techart, great... in gray or color on demand. +/- 550 USD. Need to add placement price.
I have all technical informations in "PDF". Give me an email adress and i send it.

When you install them, can you update us on how it feels? I have the Champion ones right now. They work great as they are right now but they do not provide the tactile feedback of engagement in gear change when you pull on the paddles. That is, you don't feel a click like you would on the stock wheel.

ok, I'll do that. For now I have the buttons on the origin steering wheel, that's really unpleasant to use. This can only be better!

can't wait to hear how these work out. I also have multifunction and desire paddles, but would miss those buttons for daily driving.

i actually ordered the OEM paddle steering wheel myself for my 4S. I do not have any other buttons on the current steering wheel and i find the factory unit beautiful!

+1. My first 997S had a multifunction carbon fiber/leather steering wheel (6 sp manual) and the only button I ever used was stereo volume.

The Porsche Sport Design steering wheel transforms the interior. I can't imagine anything else, but for those who actually would drive the car in auto I'm sure the paddles would annoy them since they're so close to the stalks.

Hi guys, i just come back from my Porsche Center. The "techart paddles" are mounted. I had chosen black but other colors are available.
About 5 hours of work! long! The buttons on the multifunction steering wheel are zero! Must have paddles. This is a must! A small declic arises in each gear. good grip, fall perfectly under the fingers. I have now all the avantages with the complete steering wheel. Multifonctions + paddles ! That´s great.
Sport mode really ideal to have all under my fingers and all under control. Don't hesitate, go for that !

I just posted a mint condition sport paddle wheel in classifieds.. I wrecked my porsche before I could get it on there. It's perfect, first come first served.
