removing the door panel

removing the door panel

do the snaps holding yhe panel on just release when pried away from the door? i don't want to break anything and they seem well planted...

Assuming you took out all the screws, yes, you can pry the panel off with a trim tool. You might break some clips off in the process, so you might want to buy a couple of spares.

I saw a DIY where the person melted the plastic "rivets" to remove the door panel. This allowed him to re-melt the plastic when reattaching the door panel, since the plastic was not broken or missing.
