Skeptical on Silver!

I saw a silver one with the black Suncoast 19" Fuchs, black exhaust tips and those black rings around the headlights. It looked awesome!

Silver doesn't seem to photograph as well as some other colors, but it lends itself very well to the shape of the car.
The slight amount a metallic in the paint accentuates the curves of the car in the sunlight.
It's maybe not the most exciting color but I'd gladly give up some "excitement" for ease of care. After having black cars for a while I've decided that dark colors are too much work for me.

I've never owned a silver car but I have always thought it would be a far easier car to keep looking good.
If you don't like it don't let others talk you into a color you won't be happy with over the long haul.

Which color Silver??
Does look cleaner than most colors I've own, even white, orange, dark grey. : ) Silver is a classic color and will grow on you. Can't really say no to silver. LOL
If you want to personalize the 911 then they look great with black, red, green, blue, bronze or any color wheels. Also any carbon fibre you planning to add-on will look outstanding!!
and yes, I currently have a GT Silver.

It's my personal belief that the reason for all these silver Porsches is the fact that most Porsches nowadays are leased and the lessors buy cars they can flip easily at the end of the lease. Just me perhaps but....

Loooove my Arctic Silver! I did end up with this color because it's what the dealer had on the lot... My first preference was Black, then Guards Red, then Artic Silver or White. I have absolutely no regrets, the car looks clean much longer. Here in the NW, black gets soooo dirty so quickly. I should know, I've got 3 other black cars!

As you can see in my photo, I am biased. I really like silver on the 997. I have had Midnight Blue, Guards Red, white and now silver 911. Silver seems to look cleaner much longer than the other colors I have owned.
Since silver is the most popular color amongst all car colors, you will have a potentially larger audience to sell to when that time comes. Just my random thoughts...

Consider the parking lot test. That is, when you park your car, walk away and look back, do you feel a bit of a flutter and think, "Wow, that is a beautiful car?" Given what you are paying, you really ought to at least like the color.
