Ugh. May have tinted too dark.
I have a black 997.2. No tint. Looked pretty classy but I've always tinted my cars. Went to tint shop, great guys. Said 95% of people go with 20% tint. So I did it. It looks good, but looks a little more "bad a$$" then im going for. Maybe should have done 35%. Thoughts anyone, and impressions on what you did with your tint would be helpful.

Tint appearance also depends on interior color. Just had my SUV done all the way around w/ 20% but I have a light interior and though it's pretty dark, my int keeps it from looking drug dealer dark With a black ext, if you also have a black interior, yeah it's gonna look like a deeeep black hole...
Give it a week to settle in and clear the moisture/haze between film and glass to see if you can adjust to it...
Good luck

I have 5% on all 3 back windows(limo tint)and 20% on the front side windows!I really don't think it looks like a "Drug Dealer" tint!LMAO!Oh... and yes I have a black interior! It's perfect in the California Sun!

funny, my tint guy said 90% of people get 35 . That's what I went with, but you're right 20% might be kind of dark. It might also depend on your local tint laws, here cops do not really appreciate tint that dark. Can your tint installer change it to a different shade?

I've always had 20%, think it's perfect. My tint guy convince me 15% is better on my Porsche so I took his advice. No regrets. And I think it looks fine. Of course it's going to look darker on a rainy day. Depends on what angle/light you take the picture at.

I have 50% (Meteor Grey) and love it. Subtle and functional. I used to have 20% on my B5 A4 in college way back when and looking at those cars now....yikes...I guess I've grown up a bit. BTW, What is the legal limit for windows (front) in most states???
