Headlight Black housing ricer style is on process !
While my car is in the shop. I took headlight out to do some decoration on them the way I like. I think there are going to be a lot of people hate this but hey... I like it this way.
Crack it open and tape some clear part. Paint them matte black.
Oh my god I have to tell you guys one thing. Porsche use really bad chrome to chrome their plastic piece. I was gonna keep some part chrome but It doesn't work at all. After chrome part touch the blue tape , it will just come off with the tape. It's funny but no big deal. I just paint everything.
And now trying to locate HALO light as DRL of course for show off. I didn't expect functional at all.
I'm still thinking if I should have HALO in front of projector so I will have angle eyes kinda thing like BME or I should hide it in the back and get only the grow of it.
peace...

I think they look awesome. Glad you went with everything black. looks like the lightweight racing headlights that you see on some track only GT3RS.
If it was my car, I wouldn't put the angel eyes ala BMW, I would probably do the glow behind the projector but hey, it's your car!
Good job!

I think when you turn on the lights it will get lost.
I ran predator/angel eyes on my M3 but that was a BMW-thing these days I've seen Chrysler's, Camaro's, Subaru's, etc. I don't think it'll look right on the Porsche. Just my $.02.

It will be interesting to see if your high beams remain effective.
How did your blown motor saga end? Did Porsche pick up any cost?

Thanks for all comment. After spent time to play with it and listen to you guys. I agree not to do angle eyes. I'll set it glow from the back of projector.

You need to be calm. The silicone doesn't melt like japanese car.
You will need to use smallest screwdriver and just keep cutting it.
Not really hard but you need to do it little by little.

I too am curious to see if the reflector is necessary to create the correct light pattern.
Anyway, this is an interesting idea! Looking forward to seeing it on your car (with the rebuilt engine).
I just had a thought... what about painting these headlight-housings body color with the clear coat? Might be an interesting look (although I prefer the stock look on my car, for now).
