Gummy radio volume button

Not a big deal but is it possible to replace the volume button? Mine has a sticky feel to it.

It depends on the radio you have. I haven't been able to find new buttons for mine, and current buttons don't fit. My PCM has buttons that were only used for a couple of years and even the manufacturer doesn't have them. Yours should be available from your dealer. I bought newer buttons for PCM2 ($30 each) but they don't fit.

When mine became gummy, I "pushed/scraped" the gummy part off - actually had little choice, as they were so sticky the stuff was coming off anyway. Looks and feels much better now. I am not sure how it will turn out for you but it worked for my 06 997.
