Sharkwerks Bypass Installed

So I spent Friday morning by my dealer while I waited for the techs to install my new Sharkwerks bypass (the guys at Porsche Roslyn have always been great to me, especially with the aftermarket stuff). To make a long story short, the reason I havent been able to write a review yet is because I haven't stopped driving the car. The sound is unbelievable. With the PSE off the car is still very civilized and drivable when you need to it to be stealthy. Switch it on and the sound will give you the chills. I will try to get a video up soon and attach some pics I took during the install (the clamps aren't on yet in the pics). Can't thank Alex and Dan from Sharkwerks enough. Awesome product and great service.

I'll second your opinion on adding the Sharwerks center bypass to a GTS.

Looks nice. And I got my GTS from Porsche of Roslyn 2 weeks ago. Looks like yours but an '11 model. Buying from them was painless compared to other dealerships I was working with.

Looks great 650! Really glad you're enjoying it and yes it does sound best on the PSE-equipped cars Not too shabby on the standard either. I like the "raspyness" of the GTS w/ PSE and this center bypass.

Here are a few videos for reference on the PSE:

I love my Sharkwerks. Tomorrow, Darin Fister ships me back my modified secondary mufflers, so I am hoping to achieve the PSE(like)/Sharkwerks combo that everyone says is the pinnacle of 997.2 soundage. I'm anxious to see how much the sound improves over the Sharkwerks alone.

OP, Missing bands?

Hey OP. There are two metal "bands" that should be clearly visible in your first photo. The are designed to run between the little metal bumps and, like the OEM bands, secure the center section from moving. Perhaps you photo was taken before they were installed?

In response to the last poster, I just did the Sharkwerks and Fister combo....sounds AWESOME. Not too loud, not too quiet. Should have come like this stock. You will be pleased.

(Sharkwerks piece is really well done, by the way)

Yes, those pictures were taken during the install (wrote it in my first post).
