Hello, Newbie here to the forum but not to the Porsche world. I have had a '97 993 cab & a 2002 Turbo & now recently purchased a 05 997S with 10k miles on it & everyday I learn something new about these cars from these forums & wanted to introduce myself. Thinking about changing the emblems to black. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have gloss black wheels on my 997 (Sport Classics) and had the dealership paint the rear badges "Carrera S" in gloss black to match. It looks really good, especially on Silver/Gray cars.

Change out the front Hood Crest - see my Avatar. Also, lose the amber side markers and get some tints while youre at it and you off to a great start.

I would get clear side markers. That would look a lot better than the orange against silver.

 

Clear sides all the way. Least expensive mod, but makes a big difference on silver...
