Yes, there is certainly something wrong here. Either the Dino or the vehicle. I would take it to a shop you trust and do a comparison between your car and a baseline... maybe a regular C2S. All you wanta to do is verify the delta... not necessarily the absolute value, since this changes based on temperature, air quality, tires, 4wD has more driveline loss, etc. Best of luck figuring this out.

I agree.
The point is that I am too lazy to follow up on this...
In 3/4 months I'll have to renew the porsche approved guarantee. When I go to the dealer for this I'll maybe ask him if he can check to make sure that the car was not poorly chiptuned by the previous owner.
Let's see...

These values look comparable to a standard 997.1C2S. Since it was on a dyno...was sport mode active? Did you correct these values to std day sea level conditions?

Sport Mode has no effect on horsepower. it merely changes the rate at which the throttle opens relative to movement of the accelerator pedal. Horsepower measurements are made at WOT - wide open throttle.

Do not ask me why but I have the strong flavour that the previous owner went for a custom chiptuning that messed up everything. Good enough, a friend that drove it told me that he can easily spot the difference with his 997S. Mine seems to be faster and more reactive. He told me that he will never ever put his car on a dyno since he is too scared of the results

I'm getting confused... Your dyno test is disappointing, yet your car feels faster than an equivalent car? Is this "messed up" or good? Are you considering re-flashing your chip (to stock) to improve the test, or will you leave as-is?

Yes, this friend told me that inn his opinion mine runs better than his 997s "stock".
I am planning (the first time that I am in Ch not during the WE) to ask to the dealer if he can flash it back to stock and I will decide if I want to do it based on the price he will make.

Brief update on this topic.
I finally found 1h to go to the dealer.
He said that he could not tell me if the car was chiptuned (unless the work was really poorly done) but we decided to overwrite the as-is map with the original standard X51 one.
In daily driving I cannot notice any difference.
Sooner or later maybe I will test it again on the dyno to see if anything changed.
