997.2 with PSE Bypass options: FVD vs. Sharkwerks

Been reading some great reviews and seeing some great PSE on/off comparison videos for the Sharkwerks bypass
http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=193

i haven't found a video for the PSE on/off comparison for the FVD Brombacher bypass (which is a few hundred $$ more expensive)
http://www.fvd.us/us/en/Porsche-0/99...ess_Steel.html

has anyone experienced side by side between Sharkwerks and FVD bypass with the 997.2 (with PSE)?

thanks in advance
wolf

any mfg is the same thing, its just a pipe. There isnt any functional difference. I have had the sharkwerks and it does fit up good.

On this item I like the Sharkwerks design a bit better. Starting the GTS in the morning with the Sharwerks starts my day with a smile.

Looking at the pics of the FVD:

It's got some u-turn bends which would be a bigger restriction than our design:

We intentionally removed these type of restrictions because this is one of the reasons the factory system makes less power and is quieter:

Alan C,

Where did you obtain the bypass? Who installed? Cost?

I'm buying a 2011 C4S through the POV. Delivery probably next week...

Sorry, not enough posts to send you message direct.

Thanks

Matt

Hey Matt it's really simple to install and we provide full instructions it's about 1.5 hours tops and any dealership or indie can do it

You can get it from us here or Email Dan@sharkwerks.com for someone in your area:

If you're doing it yourself go get your hands on a 13mm swivel socket ASAP. It is an enormous help (and a big time saver) with the top bolt.

thanks for the tip, Wanderingwheelz! it should arrive tomorrow, so this is good to know.

I do plan on a DIY installation. Don't have too much experience with exhausts, so hopefully i won't mess anything up. i didn't notice a DIY thread on this installation, but i plan to take pictures and doing a post-install writeup. any other tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
