Hello to the board..sold my c2s last year. Missed it lots. Recently found a C2s coupe. 16k miles cpo. All records available. No Nav but full leather in tan. Color is Carmon red. Not your typical silver or black. Asking 53,000. Reasonable from a dealer? Would also like to get feedback on color combination.
Its a 2006
Car had full 20k service
Thanks
Peter

what year? seems slightly high if it's 997.1 but it's CPO. the color may not be easy to sell for the dealer so you should be able to get it for 50k or less if it's 997.1. make sure you really like the color and can live without nav.

Nav is a pretty useless option as you can buy a GPS for about 100 bucks. Porsche typically creates a bundle so as to make it palatable. I agree with djantlive on the color but the other side of the story is that you will have a captive audience if / when you sell because there will be someone that WANTS ONLY A CARMON RED color. To me, it's a great color especially with a full tan leather interior. Awesome!!

On Cars.com prices for '06 coups range from $ 40 to $ 62 K. I didn't see any in the color you want (that combo looks great) and the price is near mid-range. CPO makes it better deal. If you have to have that color you have very few options outside of the car you're looking at so I wouldn't spend too much time thinking about it. But, get the dealer down a couple grand if you can, you'll feel better about the whole thing.

I may be in the minority but I wouldn't buy a 6 year old car with only 16K miles. The biggest problems I've seen from Porsches are from ones with too little miles. They're always inviting but frequently need more repairs than vehicles with double or triple the miles. CPO helps but......

My two cents...hroussard says you can get a nav for $100? really...you are talking about putting a stick on device on your windshield on a car that does 0-60 in less than 6 seconds?...more importantly you are talking about having to lower the volume on your music every time you need to listen to directions...not to mention how horrible it looks and attracts attention from law enforcement confusing it for a radar detector...why would one do that? Am I mistaken?...not trying to be a smart *** just asking because if I am buying a car in 2012 moving forward and it doesn't have an integrated nav system it's not being bought...when you sell that car in 3-10 years it will be like not having a radio...still appealing to some but not for the masses...just saying....
denversteve...there is certainly a point to be made about your trend of thought...I love Range Rovers and when I see them with low miles it always makes me wonder is it low miles because it stayed in the shop or just because somebody might have had several cars and didn't drive it....I have a 91 964 Turbo that I bought in 07 that had mileage in the high teens...it all checked out and there was leakage in the seals due to the fact that they had dried out so I had to fix but aside from that I'd rather take my chances on a low miles car with all the records...no records would make me a little concerned

That color combo is pretty rare and looks great though, and if the car has any issues you can sell it after a couple of years when the warranty is up.

I think the price is definitely in line, and CPO and Full Leather are great to have. Color is COMPLETELY a personal thing. If you like the color combo, I would buy it. don't screw around over a thousand or two. You might lose the car.

The lack of nav is only one small part of the decision. I am more concered about the car, mechanics of the car..ect as well as the price.
Thanks for the input from everyone
