oil pan replacement

oil pan replacement
so has anyone done it (to their 2006-08 C2S)? i have a couple general questions:
---after taking out the 13 torx screws, how do i pry off the old pan aside from "very carefully"? plastic/wood pry bar of some sort?
---how do i scrape the old sealant off? again, with a plastic scraper of some sort?
---i'm assuming i will have to swap over the internal baffles but hopefully that will be plug and play? any other pieces that need to come over?
---aside from the bead of sealant, any other prep work before i reintall?
---recommended sealant is loctite 5900. how long should i let it cure before refilling oil? (altho, web search shows it doesnt fully cure for about 10 days?? that must be for extreme applications?)
the biggest thing i'm worried about is stripping one of the torx bolts - either while extracting, or the threads while reinstalling. i believe it's only 10 ft lbs of torque, but if someone could back me up on that.
thanks for any help...

Just be careful, but a pry bar should work fine.
I usually use a razor blade to scrape the sealant off, being careful not to score the sealing surface.
I think the baffle is only 3 bolts - should be easy.
Clean both surfaces really well before putting the sealant on (it won't cure with any oil on the surface). It should fully cure for this application within 20 minutes. The pan needs to be installed within 5 minutes of applying the sealant also.
I don't know for sure, but I think it's around 7.5 ft-lbs.

thanks ECS! yep, i've been seeing much of the same advice via other searches. one question tho, how big of a bead of loctite? (sorry, but i have never done this kind of thing before.) the only thing i've seen so far is "1mm - 1.5mm". is this enough? or should it be wider than that?
