Anyone have Softtronic Flash on a GTS Or Carrera S
#18
I'm out of warranty myself and did mine. Softronic does give you the original file to re-install it back to the original setting. I'm not sure if the factory or the dealer would know....I'm not an expert on that stuff....but I agree that a GTS is an already awesome machine....smucks like me want to get to GTS power!!

Yes I like the flash, it has a very quick response from 2K up to speed limiter which is 500rpm more with the flash.Very smooth on acceleration.Modified tune is optimal only when I use sport mode.Vivid Racing flashed my ECU accordingly to what I had added to the P-Car, IPD Plenum, cold air kit,and Gundo hack.I am completely satisfied with the mod and Vivid Racing is great to deal with!It is probably a bit expensive for the bit power gain but definitely worth it IMHO!You can always re-flash back to stock mode and dealer will be totally unaware of its presence, before or after.

i have it on my 4s, and when i take it to the dealer with stock file, the difference is noticeable
i also have plenum, cats, headers, exhaust and intake done so it may have something to do with that, but over all worth the investment
it also keeps the check engine light off from my cats

Define "well worth". Do you want to derive satisfaction from your GTS that rates ~425 hp? Nothing wrong with that - it's your money, do it. Do you want it to go faster on the street or track (performance)? If this is the reason it probably won't do you much, if any, good - suspension mods might be better for that purpose.

go ahead. I was going to get the kit and know what aftermarket wheels I want.
